Jeff was great to work with when we bought our first home. We ended up putting the offer in over Thanksgiving and closing right around Christmas, but despite the awkward timing, Jeff was always on the ball and quick to response to our questions. Jeff is clearly passionate about real estate and was able to give us a lot of information on the market, different neighborhoods, and pretty much anything else we asked about. Since we had never gone through the process before, we had a lot of questions and asked for a lot of explanation and Jeff always answered our questions and gave us good advice each step of the way. He made sure we knew what all our options were, but also listened to our concerns and we never felt like we were being pressured to make a decision. Jeff has an extensive list of contacts for every part of the process and beyond—not just for the mortgage, inspection, and closing, but also contractors, professionals, and other service providers that are good to have on hand after you close. Jeff was an incredible help - we don't think we would have been able to get our home without his expertise. What was most valuable to us was his practicality and speed. He was always honest and clear in his communication, and really let you know how things were likely to shape up without sugarcoating things. He is unbelievably responsive, almost to a fault. We ran into Jeff at an open house on our first day of house-hunting in DC, and couldn’t have been luckier. For out-of-town home shoppers like us, Jeff made the process smoother than we could have ever managed. We probably saw upwards of 35 houses together with Jeff, before landing on the house we finally purchased. Jeff was super patient throughout, and went out his way to go see places for us, even when we weren’t in town - we didn’t even need to ask, if we mentioned there was a house that we liked, he would offer to go see it and send us video on his initiative. To me this is one of the things that separates Jeff from other agents - he is super hardworking and runs all over the city for his clients. Jeff also offers honest advice - he’ll tell you if he thinks a house is underpriced or overpriced based on his vast experience, which was super helpful for first-time homebuyers like us. Jeff was also very helpful finding us a mortgage agent that offered us a far better rate than we were getting from other people, and he helped us clinch the deal on our house under asking price through his power of persuasion.
